"Just off the Interstate" and overlooking "a beautiful lake", this "older" hotel "provides comfort" for travelers visiting the nearby Shands hospital and is "conveniently located to the university", even if critics complain it's "out in the sticks" (and picky palates might prefer the hospital's food); despite "spacious" accommodations and "great porches", many agree there's "no way" this is a three-star place, since the "beat up" building houses "unpleasing" decor, "sagging mattresses", "bubbly" wallpaper, "YMCA-caliber towels" and a smell of "wet dog" in the rooms.

They didn't cut down the beautiful trees.
Just not up to 2.5 hotel. Old, outside entrance and the entry was to hard to access.
Old hotel. Needs updates and cleaning. New carpet needed. To hard to get to your room with luggage. Would not stay there again.
